Beautiful wall panel! Vintage Maitland Smith (approximately 15 years old). Gorgeous, solid wood (Mahogany) frame surrounds the faux, papier mache (crackled appearance) panel. The panel features 2 monkeys; one frolicking in the palm tree, the other, carrying a vase of flowers. This scene includes water/pond and lush fauna. The backing is also solid wood giving evidence to the fine quality of this panel. Gold foil sticker on back at bottom. Very nice condition with minimal evidence of age/use. There are a couple of very minor scuffs on the frame which are not distracting and which can be touched up. In general, excellent condition! Measures 50" tall, 24" wide and the frame extends 1.25" from the wall.
